Horizon 2020 · RIAStrategies of circular Economy and Advanced bio-based solutions to keep our Lands and seas alIVE from plastics contamination
SEALIVE is a Horizon 2020 project with a total budget of €8.5 million focused on developing circular economy strategies based on recycling, biodegradability, and compostability. The project aims to demonstrate sustainable, bio-based plastic alternatives in eight high-impact use cases across Cyprus, Denmark, France, and Ireland. These include fisheries, agriculture, and packaging applications. The project brings together multidisciplinary partners to drive systemic change in plastic use, design, and end-of-life strategies. MATICAL supports the project by assisting several partners with project management tasks and reporting duties.
